♿ Accessibility Statement

Last updated: January 1, 2026

OUR COMMITMENT TO ACCESSIBILITY

MODMOUNT LLC (“ModMount,” “we,” “us,” “our”) is committed to making our website and online services reasonably accessible to as many people as possible, including individuals with disabilities who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnification software, voice recognition software, and alternative input devices.

Accessibility is part of how we aim to deliver respectful, effective service. While we cannot guarantee a perfectly accessible experience for every user and every technology combination, we are working in good faith to reduce barriers and improve access over time.

ACCESSIBILITY STANDARDS

ModMount strives to align our website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), on a reasonable‑efforts basis. These guidelines provide a framework for making web content more accessible for people with a wide range of abilities, including:

  • Visual impairments (blindness, low vision, color blindness)
  • Hearing impairments (deafness, hearing loss)
  • Motor impairments (limited fine motor control, inability to use a mouse)
  • Cognitive impairments (learning disabilities, memory impairments)
  • Photosensitive conditions (seizure disorders)
  • Speech impairments

WCAG 2.1 Level AA is widely viewed as an industry benchmark. However, conformance is a spectrum, and our website may not fully meet every success criterion on every page.

MEASURES TAKEN TO SUPPORT ACCESSIBILITY

ModMount uses a combination of technical and content practices intended to improve accessibility. These measures are implemented on a commercially reasonable basis and may evolve over time.

Design and Development Practices

Where practical, our website is built using:

  • Semantic HTML structure with a logical heading hierarchy
  • Color choices intended to provide sufficient contrast between text and background
  • Text that can generally be resized without loss of content or functionality
  • Visible focus indicators for keyboard navigation
  • Descriptive link text that makes sense in context
  • Alternative text (alt text) for meaningful images
  • Form labels and instructions associated with form fields
  • Mechanisms to bypass repeated content
  • Interactive elements that can be operated with a keyboard

Content Practices

We aim to:

  • Use clear, straightforward language on key pages and documentation
  • Maintain generally consistent navigation and layout
  • Use descriptive page titles
  • Provide error messages that help users understand and address issues
  • Avoid relying solely on color, shape, or position to convey information

Testing and Quality Assurance

On a periodic basis, and as resources reasonably allow, we:

  • Use automated accessibility tools to identify common issues
  • Perform keyboard‑only navigation checks on core journeys
  • Spot‑check compatibility with popular screen readers
  • Review color contrast on key templates and components

Because technology and standards change, results can vary over time and by user configuration. We cannot promise comprehensive testing or perfect results on every page.

Organizational Commitment

Within the limits of a small business, we work to:

  • Factor accessibility into our design and development workflows
  • Educate relevant team members about accessibility considerations
  • Use customer feedback to guide future improvements
  • Consider accessibility when selecting third‑party tools and services

CURRENT CONFORMANCE STATUS

ModMount is working toward greater alignment with WCAG 2.1 Level AA but does not claim full compliance at this time.

Status: Partially Conformant

“Partially conformant” means some parts of the website meet many WCAG 2.1 Level AA criteria, while other parts may contain issues that could limit access for some users. We continue to identify and address issues as we become aware of them and as resources permit.

KNOWN LIMITATIONS AND ONGOING IMPROVEMENTS

The following are examples of areas where accessibility may be limited and where we are seeking to improve over time. This list is not exhaustive.

Areas Currently Under Improvement

  • PDF Documents: Some PDF files may not be fully optimized for screen readers or keyboard navigation. Where feasible, we are updating high‑value PDFs and working to create new documents with accessibility in mind. If you need a specific document in an alternative format, please contact us.

  • Third‑Party Embedded Content: Certain embedded tools or services (such as payment processors, shipping carriers, and fulfillment or form providers) are operated by third parties and may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 or our internal standards. We have limited control over these platforms but will raise issues with vendors when we become aware of them and consider more accessible options where reasonable.

  • Complex Forms: Some multi‑step or conditional forms may be more challenging for assistive technologies. We are gradually improving structure, instructions, error handling, and focus order.

  • Image Descriptions: While we aim to provide meaningful alt text for important images, some decorative or legacy images may not yet have ideal descriptions. We are reviewing and updating these over time.

Workarounds Available

If you encounter an accessibility barrier while using our website, we encourage you to reach out so we can try to help you complete your task through another channel.

  • For PDF documents: Email us at help@modmount.com to request assistance or an alternative format.
  • For order placement assistance: Call us during business hours or email your request, and we will work with you to complete your order.
  • For form submission issues: Contact us via phone or email, and we can gather the needed information directly.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Compatibility

Our goal is for the website to work reasonably well with current versions of major browsers and operating systems commonly used with assistive technologies. In particular, we aim to support:

Operating Systems (examples):

  • Recent versions of Windows
  • Recent versions of macOS
  • Recent versions of iOS
  • Recent versions of Android

Web Browsers (examples):

  • Current versions of Google Chrome
  • Current versions of Mozilla Firefox
  • Current versions of Safari
  • Current versions of Microsoft Edge

Assistive Technologies (examples):

Our accessibility efforts are informed by common combinations such as:

  • Popular desktop screen readers (for example, JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver)
  • Built‑in mobile screen readers (for example, VoiceOver on iOS, TalkBack on Android)
  • Screen magnification tools
  • Voice recognition software

Because there is a wide variety of assistive technologies and user settings, we cannot guarantee compatibility with every combination, but we strive to avoid obvious barriers with commonly used tools.

THIRD-PARTY CONTENT AND SERVICES

Our website may include links to or integrations with services not operated by ModMount (for example, payment platforms, shipping providers, analytics, referral or affiliate tools, embedded forms, or video players).

We do not control the accessibility of these third‑party properties and cannot represent or guarantee their conformance with any standard. If you experience an accessibility issue while using a third‑party service in connection with ModMount, please let us know. Where possible, we will:

  • Assist you in completing your task through another method, and
  • Raise the issue with the third‑party provider or consider reasonable alternatives over time.
